Thanks Kari! I've been taking my journal on my hikes but sometimes, just hiking for the sake of hiking also feels good. But yeah, every little bit of inspiration certainly helps.

Trisha - I totally know what you mean. For creative people like ourselves, we have to be able to express ourselves and be creative what ever avenue it may be. I'm glad you are back in your studio and I think it's great that you are able to have the time to work like that. I only wish I had more time myself. With that said.

Keep it up. One of the things I always enjoyed was throwing my sketch book in my bag and kicking up in the mountains at my parents cabin. Sitting down on a rock and pulling it out and just sketching what I saw. It didn't have to be perfect, I just did it. And just being outside and away and being able to clear my mind and sketch felt so good. Perhaps when your taking the dogs for a walk, try doing that (if you haven't already) Take some colored pencils, or other mediums. Take the camera and try and get unique perspectives. Nature is always the best way I think to get inspired and get my creative side going again!

Good luck!
